Is this an R or R-line?

Post by Stejay21 »

Been on a while now this and it looks to me like an R but the description states it's the 261 HP R-line and one of the images also show R-line, confused. Can anybody shed any light? Also, seems expensive, shouldn't a 5 year old R be closer to £15,000?

That's a scirocco r top spec.
Which is 261bhp.
R line wasn't available 5 years ago. And being an R it's the top model it will hold its value very well. So price is probably about right.

And its only done 20,000 miles which is super low for a 5 year old car which would be another reason why it's priced higher.

good price but I would say shame no leather (ties whole car together into being premium feel) and no dynaudio speaker upgrade which is amaaaazing

Also the door sills are "R-line" - might be wrong but weren't "R" door sills standard on these? So they have probably been changed at some point.

Missing - leather, nav, bluetooth, sun roof, 18 inch alloys rather than 19s and no dynaudio. So not a great spec but even so not badly priced for an R :)

The latest standard spec for the R is 277 BHP with leather and cadiz 19" alloys which is why it might cause confusion now.
