Have just ordered my new Scirocco - Pearl Black 2.0 Tdi 140 GT, with Hill Holder, Badge Deletion, Flat Tyre Indicator and Mats - so pretty standard. Have had a lot of trouble with tyres and wheels on last two cars so thought the tyre indicator would be a good idea, and have got hill holder on my Grande Punto Sporting and it is really useful so hope it is as good on the Scirocco! I am sure it will be.
Going to go for a leather re-trim, about two thirds the price and again I have this on my Punto and it is much better quality than the VW leather. You also get to choose exactly what you want, am thinking about black leather with red stitching round the edges and black stitching for the stripes - quite plain.
Managed to get just over £2000 off the car from an internet broker - one of the big ones, so hopefully there won't be any disasters. Still waiting for them to ring and say they have made a mistake, but I spoke to them yesterday on the phone and they confirmed the price.

Sounds fab!
Where will you be getting your leather re-trim done? Does the company have a website?

www.theseatsurgeons.com - based in York although I think they have outlets elsewhere. Have quoted just under £1000 for full re-trim including door cards. They've done a really good job with my current car and let me design exactly what I wanted - basically good quality black leather with some stripes in stitching so nothing revolutionary, but looks smart all the same. The finishing touches are good - door armrests and seat pockets, etc.
