Wondering if any of you techs can shed any light on a wee problem I have. Car sat at work all day and on starting the car up leaving work a message came up entitled 'brake system fault' with the handbrake light and ABS light staying on. Had new pads at the last service, no advisories on the discs/pads at last MOT (2000 miles ago), have checked brake fluid and appears to be enough in (can't see down the sides very clearly) but on screwing off the cap there is fluid lying in the bucket at the top so is nowhere the minimum based on that. Even checked engine oil level but that's fine too. On driving brakes are fine, and yes it was raining today but car sat in car park all day so can't say the pads are wet. Any ideas or is this just a faulty sensor?
