Roxxy the Rocco

Post by mazzie_baby »

So it's only taken me a year but I thought I'd set up a little thread and formally introduce you all to my Scirocco, Roxxy....it's also taken me a year to decide she's a "she" and also to name her!

Roxxy is a 2009 Deep Black 2.0 TSI with a manual box and leather seats.

Here's a pic of her in Crystal Palace Park, a couple of days after I bought her...

Here's a pic of her a few months after I bought her, on a day trip to Brighton; pic courtesy of easyrider.

As you can see, she looks pretty standard and is one of those rarer Roccos with the 17" alloys...

In the meantime, I have learnt how to wash her *properly* (thanks Luke.08 and easyrider) and even managed to get some SWEET beading action going on today...

What does the beam pattern look like? Could you drive it up to a wall and take a pic of the light output pattern?

For the DRL upgrade, is it just the Bulbs changed ?

Bowser - I'll try and get a pic of it for you at some point....

Jace - Yeah, it's just the bulbs and, having seen how they're done, they're pretty easy to do. This is the link to eBay where I bought the main bulbs http://ebay.eu/1PDVn5Q" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That link just takes you to bulbs, they aren't hids. Hids look like thishttps://www.google.co.uk/search?q=hid+kits&clie ... &gws_rd=cr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
