P2263 Turbocharger/supercharger Boost System Performance

Can anyone help me on this please??
I was on a 80 mile round trip on the motorway in my 1.4 TSI (2009) Rocco and around 70 mile into the journey I noticed the engine management light was on. I pluged my diagnostic reader in and got this error code - P2263 Turbocharger/supercharger Boost System Performance. I have cleared the code to see if it would come back on but nothing as of yet and since clearing the code I have done 30 miles or so. Not sure if this can be caused by the terrible weather I was driving in as it was windy and raining. Cars performance seems the same so no change there just a little scary when i seen the words turobo/supercharger come up on the error code.
Only bought this car 3 weeks ago and had noticed when putting the foot down after a few seconds I feel a drag then more power kicks in but is that just normal turbo lag ? Or should i not feel that because its also supercharged? I notice this more when on the motorway or on an open road where i can put my foot down.
Any help or advice very much appreciated guys.
Thanks in advanced
