Does anyone know how this can be fixed? Do you need to replace the whole unit or can u change the one led?

Need to replace the whole light. Maybe have a look on ebay to see if you can pick 1 up there.

As above, you need to replace the whole unit. Not too expensive from.your local TPS

Tps? I notice your location, I am in glasgow can you recommend anywhere for work to be carried out? I have a service plan in ed at the main dealer that is paid for for my service this year but I want to lower it and maybe paint the black door strips too? Thanks in advance
