Servicing 1.4 TSI near Wakefield

Post by blogger »

Hi

Ive had a 1.4 TSI for approx 1 year so I think the service is due approx March time.

I am torn between dealer or independant services - obviously due to the price differences - what are members views on this ?

Also can anyone recommend an excellent Independant near Wakefield West Yorkshire if I decide to go non dealer?

Any help really appreciated!

Thanks
Nigel

Hope you don't mind, I corrected your post as it read 1.4TDI (no such model), but your profile says 1.4TSI :)

Can't really help as I have always used the main dealer, but others may be able to advise on independent servicing. I am assuming your car is more than 3 years old?

Hi nigel. I work at a garage in kippax, leeds and we service a lot of cars still under warranty but we use oem parts to maintain the manufacturers warranty. We do everything that the dealers do apart from rip you off and tell you that your brake pads are low when they aren't! I would imagine for a full service on your car it would be around £160 including vat.

Thanks, Phil

Try you local dealer and ask for a price match

Don't get if you don't ask
Never argue with an idiot! They will bring you down to there level..... Then win experience!
