My Latest Scirocco this time an R

Post by Peter G »

Hi All

I thought I would start a thread of my newest addition before it starts it's journey of new things.

I had a Reflect Silver 2.0TSi Dsg which I loved, and did a few things to but drove an R and had to have one. So I took the plunge and bought one and collected this Saturday Just gone.

These are the pictures on the day of Collecting courtesy of "easyrider" so all credit for the photography to easyrider.

This is my new Scirocco R in Midnight Blue, DSG, Recaro Seats, Colour MFD, Dynaudio, Pana Roof.

Thought I'd do a little mention to Chris Knott insurance, who insured both my cars. Have to say one of the best insurance companies I have dealt with, and the best price by miles. Give them a try people.

Also if anyone interested in 2.0 TSI performance parts please check out my items on Buy & Sell sections.

Cheers, I'm chuffed.

Think if I waited any longer with it, it would of gone.

I have the same colour R-line TDI, beautiful colour, not seen many around in Dark Midnight blue and I have never seen an R in that colour. Love the wheels as well, really suit that colour car. Look after it and it will look after you.

If petrol was cheaper, that is the car I would have bought. I know its never been cheaper at present but the expense and pain of running a car like that would outweigh the looks and thrill factor. Enjoy it, very pleased for you. Never actually driven an R but would love a go sometime.

I am so pleased with the colour, first time I had seen one in person.

Cheers everyone

Yeah the seats were the icing on the cake for me, as I have only seen one other R in this model with the seats.
