Interior temp sensor for climate control
Hi was wondering if anyone knew where about the interior temp sensor was located inside the car? My climate doesn't work I either get freezing cold or roasting hot no in between. Ive had it on vagcom and the interior temp sensor is reading -46 degrees. I can't find it to replace it though and vw can't find where it is unless I get them a g code part number. Anyone know?

I *think* it's in the control unit itself. I'm sure i read on one of the golf forums that it's behind the little round dot on the face of the unit.

With the climate control.being dual zone, I would of expected there to be 2 internal temp sensors, one for each zone

There is 2 one on each side. Then there's for each footwell. But the one I'm having a problem with is the overall temp. It's reading -50 degrees. The others are all spot on.
