Leaving windows down while parked warning

Post by keal23 »

Hey guys

I've got into a habit of leaving my windows open when I've had them down then parked up and left my car

Is there any settings that I can change that will warn me my windows are down when I lock the car or automatically close my windows?

Seem to only do it when it's raining aha so my cars getting abit wet at times :(

Thanks

Keal

When you lock the car, hold down the lock button on the key for a couple of seconds. Make this a habit and do it every time you lock the car as it will automatically close the windows and panoramic roof (if opened) from distance.

Hope it helps.

Make sure the function is selected within the convenience menu setting within the MFD as it can be enabled / disabled, if you have Highline.

There's a rain close setting that closes the windows and sunroof when it rains. That way even if you leave them open the car won't get wet. You need VCDS, details here.

Does this only work when the car is unlocked and running?

No it only works when the car is parked and locked but with the windows or sunroof open.
