Clutch Judder From Cold 2.0 TSi
Currently experiencing clutch judder from cold when setting of, only seems to be from a stand still in 1st gear. After around 10 minutes it's fine. It's only started happening now the temperature is cooler in the mornings. 2011 2.0 TSi with 20k miles. Should I be concerned?

Re: Clutch Judder From Cold 2.0 TSi
My 2.0 TDi 170 has done this from new mate, in fact my old Golf TDi was the same. Sometimes its more promenant when cold, sometimes its not that bad but yes when it warms up it fine. More noticable when going up hills from start off. I've got 53,000miles on mine and its the same hasn't got worse.
I read on another forum (by no means is this info correct) that it could have something to do with the rough running of the engine when cold which sorts itself out when all has warmed up.
Personally it feels like clutch judder, I never been a big fan of VW clutches. The mk7 ones seem a lot better though.
Hope that allays any concerns.
