Painting grilles

Has anyone on here painted the fog covers? Want to paint the edge of the centre piece as many of you have,while I was at it I thought why not paint the honeycomb section black & do the fog covers too match?

Over on the other forum there was pictures of a white Rocco with the fog grills painted white and it looked too much. It looked much better with.just the edge piece if the centre grill painted white.

I want to do the edge piece white & paint the covers & the honeycomb centre black, won't fade then & should match the upper grille well
