tdi start up

Post by Shaun1982 »

Hi guys

Noticed this morning that my 170 tdi is quite tappy for a few minutes when started up, is this pretty normal? Obviously I don't know how long it goes on for as I got it & drove off after clearing my Windows

Normal, just the delay in the oil in the hydraulic tappets getting up to pressure.

Same here. I looked it up a while back, as the others said just tappets and all is normal
