Hey, bit of a confusing one. Last May I bought a 58 plate Scirocco (~40k miles) from Inchcape in Cirencester. Now, I assumed it came with a 12-month VW used car warranty, and that's definitely what was implied by the salespeople. However, I've rung up Inchcape and Dasweltauto (I was given a dasweltauto folder with warranty contact details on) and neither of them have my car listed on the system as being under warranty...
This is not good because my clutch has started to make loud squealing sounds under load (it's not slipping) and I have a feeling I'm going to need a clutch replacement...
What should I do next? All I have is a dealer care document saying that I chose not to purchase an extension to my [12] month warranty (the 12 was filled in by the salesperson), signed by myself and the salesperson.
Anybody bought a used car from Inchcape?

Raise the issue with customer of care mate. Pointless dealing with them if they aren't being helpful!
