Come in Scirocco No: 2 your time is up

Post by silver130 »

After 5 1/2 years of great Scirocco ownership the time has come to move on. I have loved every minute and had a completely fault free experience with both Scirocco's but was starting to get itchy feet.
I have just checked this morning and my new car is just off the coast of Grimsby.
Not completely defected but I will soon be pootling about in a Mk7 Golf GTI
I will be sad to see the Scirocco go but all good things must come to an end.

Keep enjoying your cars !! :D
IF IT'S NOT BROKEN

I've also just traded mine in for the new Nissan Quasqai

Kinda gutted but needed something higher and I've gotta say the Quasqai is a stunning drive

Enjoyed my time on the forum and hope to stop by now and again

I got my GTi two weeks ago... as much as I loved my Scirocco the GTi really is a step above.

You are really going to enjoy it.

Talking of the Golf GTi, when I enquired as to the cost of insuring a Mk 6 version my insurance company told me they would only cover it if it had an approved tracker system fitted.

Was wondering if this is a standard requirement nowadays as I am guessing the GTi is, and always has been, a favourite for the light fingered in our society..
