Flashing 3rd brake light

hello guys. for those of you who don't know what am on about, i mean the 3rd brake light flash on/off 7 times when you brake (normal braking not hard braking). its a Bugatti thing and new germans have it but only in hard emergency braking.
i personally think its a wicked mod but also a really good alerting safety feature for those 85 yr old driving behind. anyone knows or has experience with it?

few months ago i got one off ebay, tried installing it on my bimmer but wouldn't work, most probably cause its an LED one. too bad!!

I had one fitted on my Exige mainly because I was so low down however I was always conscious it probably annoyed the crap out of people behind when I was in traffic on and off the brake.
