My new motor!

Post by Amin »

New Car.jpg
I have had it nearly 2 weeks now but the weather being so bad i have not had a chance to take some proper pics, here is a quick snap or two from the showroom when i picked it up.
So far very happy - only niggle i have is the on board computer seems to display speed in km/h and can't for the life of me figure out how to change to mph?!
Need to wash the thing, having fun in this weather in a white car leads to it being quite filthy now!

Thanks, changed from a black car which needed constant cleaning so used to a weekly wash (for the car that is!)

Its how they are set up - UK Roc's have a mph speedo with no km/h markings on it - so they have the little digital speedo reading km/h. You can't change it using the cars computer menus but if you have (or know someone) with VCDS is a two minute job to get the 'Big Speedo' reading in the MFD and this can be in mph. There are loads of posts on how to do it here - just search on 'Big Speedo' and up it comes..... lovely car - you must be thrilled! :-)

Info is here: http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum/ ... =36&t=3280" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You can also activate the alarm beep, 'needle sweep' and other cool features... :p

I'm happy to sort it all for you if you drive a few junctions anti-clockwise around the M25 :-)
