Our new Rocco came with an electric switch on the top of the driver's seat which allows it to move backwards and forwards to allow people to enter the rear. Today one of the car unfamiliar users accidentally caught this switch and became trapped as the seat moved backwards as he leaned into the back to pick up a package on the rear seat with the switch latched on. This started to crush his body and only his own strength and agility allowed him to escape in time before a much worse injury may have occurred. The position of this switch means it is possible to get trapped and yet keep the switch pushed with one’s midriff without realising what is causing the seat to move to stop it in time.
We did not ask for this switch as there is a more than adequate manual tilt and slide on the passenger side. This does not relate to the electric switches located on the lower side which are a lot slower moving and not possible to trap whilst in the gap. Instead this issue relates to the one on top by the headrest. Now that we are aware of the risk, we’ll be more careful to instruct new users but I suspect we’ll not be the only ones to have this problem.

Weird? Mine moves really slowly when I press the switch near the handle?

Yes but if you are leaning in through the narrow gap to the rear to grab a package and touch the switch with your body then, if you are not expecting it, you can easily get trapped without realising what is causing the seat to be moving. This relates to the seat being upright with a gap behind big enough to lean in to grab a package on the rear seats. My switch does move the seat quicker than using side buttons. All in all, it's a lot slower getting in the back via the driver's door with this contraption than the manual one on the passengers' side.

If the engine is ON, these switches are disabled, I never let anyone in unless the engine is ON.

I'm confused - how can you 'never let anyone in' if the switches to move the seat forward don't work - can it be moved manually?
