Warranty Extension on intake manifolds and injectors ??

As you can read, the Volkswagen has extended the warranty for bad intake manifold including injectors. This is probably in the US only, but nobody knows yet and probably only the Golf GTI.

Anyone knows if this applies to the Scirocco too if the warranty extension is world wide?

I doubt it . They (USA) also got the DSG box warranty extended- we didn't

They won't do it in the UK but you can use the fact they have done it in the USA as a negotiating factor for goodwill out of warranty, as it confirms thete is an issue
