i have notice the passanger side head light and rear light were steaming up when it rains,i dropped it at the dealer this morning and got a call saying we have changer the rear light but the front one we can't change because if you put the main light on it will dry it up. i don't think this is good enough any one else had this problem or is it just me.

Re: Head light steaming up
It's a common problem and has happened on my last 4 VAG cars. Some people do manage to get them changed under warranty but I think in most cases it still happens, most notably in humid conditions or when just washed.

It reminds me of when I had a leak in the cabin and the carpet never dried out underneath fully and so always misted the windows until one day I dried it in the sun for a whole day.
Perhaps you could remove the side lights (awkward though to refit) and get a hair dryer in there to allow the moist air to escape and not condense again?
