Buzzing/ cracking noise from passenger door anyone?

Post by whiteDevil_170 »

Either A crackling type sound or buzzing sound has appeard these past few weeks on my passenger side door. When driving sounds like its coming from the tweeter area in the door. Gf says its coming from where the door handle is. I turnt the head unit off so no music was playing and it was still there. It's really annoying. It comes and goes though so would be hard for me to prove to a technician. Anybody had this?

Had a similar noise from the passenger door after the dealers replaced the window regulator.

I thought it was a loose wire vibrating inside the door, they reported a loose hinge. They tightened them up and the noise disappeared, worth a try.

Just had a thought aswell. I went out for a meal tonight and I noticed that the passenger side door sill I fitted has slightly come up one end. When pressing down can hear that there is like small stones underneath. I wonder if it could be that? It's a long shot but you never know.
