Missing manuals?

I've just collected my new Scirocco, which has replaced my old 2010 model. The new car has the RNS 315 sat nav system and comes with Bluetooth.

When I checked the document wallet, I found that I only have the main manual relating to the car itself (along with the service and assistance booklets). I don't have any manuals for the radio / sat nav or the Bluetooth. The dealer was a bit surprised about this and is looking into it, but didn't seem too sure about what I should have.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what manuals they may have got with their car recently? I'm pretty sure there should be a radio / sat nav manual, but is there a separate Bluetooth one as well?

I would have expected there to be a seperate manual for the RNS 315 System, I certainly do with mine although it is 2009 (RNS 510).

Unless of course VW are following current trends now where they expect customers to look at online PDF's to cut down on costs. I would not expect that with any car to be honest though.

My Roc was a Demonstrator model owned by West London VW before I bought it from them. All the manuals were missing when I collected the car. VW ordered me a full new set of manuals and the cover they came in. Sales guy told me they would have cost a couple of hundred pounds if I had to buy them so defo ask for the correct manuals from your dealer.

Latest update - the dealers have got in touch with me to say that VW aren't supplying radio manuals with new models at the moment! I'm not sure if this is temporary, or perhaps an attempt to save a few pounds. They've ordered one for me, but I have to say that having spent nearly £25k on a new car I would expect it to come with all the necessary manuals!

That sounds like a bit of a fib to me. Ring VW HQ Customer Services and ask them the question for your own piece of mind.
