Bumper Respray Finally Done! (with pics)
Hey guys,
Wanting to colour code the bumper on the Roc. Wondered if someone can photoshop the first picture for me? (sorry if it's not a great picture, I can take another one if that helps). The second picture highlights areas of the bumper in blue and red - can the panels highlighted in red be made gloss black, and the panels highlighted in blue be a color match to the rising blue?
Thanks for anyone's help!!

Can't photoshop it for you but other people have done similar. Can't think who on here right now...maybe Le Clue? Worth checking out a few build threads in the Showroom section. Looks good when done. I'd definitely like the vertical bits done blue on mine a la the R bumper.

Cheers mate. Yeah I've seen a few in white, will seek out a blue! Think it finishes the front end off very well.

Just been searching on here but can't find one. Not Le Clue as I checked, but sure I've seen one somewhere.

I hope I'm not breaking any rules by linking to another forum, but I think this is what you're after mate: http://www.scirocconet.co.uk/forum/fron ... t9935.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Bumper Respray (cheeky photoshop request)
Cheers fella. I'm torn now... originally I didn't want the piece lined up with the DRL sprayed black (as highlighted) but looking at some of those pics, it does look smart. What's people's opinion on colour coding vs. black on that piece?

If I was doing, I'd leave that bit black as well.

Can't decide... originally preferred more blue, but thinking the black is more r-like...

Re: Bumper Respray (cheeky photoshop request)
But you don't have an R do you? Listen, it's your call and I know people can like what the hell they want, but I just wish more people would personalise rather than copy something it's not. I don't mean that to sound arsey and I cba writing anymore. Just reminds me of when people back in the day would Ghia badges on some racked off Fiesta and Turbo on a Montego that clearly wasn't.dchapman32 wrote:Can't decide... originally preferred more blue, but thinking the black is more r-like...
I, like you, think both look nice, but I think the extra blue bit (Kev's first pic - which btw is a good photoshop ) is more unique and will be the only BLUE that I know of to have that, and for me, if I was doing it and I was literally stuck between those, I know that would make me choose. My car has things done to it from a tuning company, but I didn't want their remap with the kit (and they were expensive) and went with Revo, I've had some carbon done taking heed from someone else and a adding some more carbon parts, Black badges are next and maybe refurb wheels to more of a gunmetal colour.
All in all, it's your call, but I'd go for the more unique look in the original Photochoppe ja!

Haha well said... I guess I meant r-like because I like the look of the R... if I wanted to pretend I'd just get the full R kit ;-) appreciate the input!

They are. Sorry if that's not obvious from the pictures.metaljay wrote:you should have got the other parts painted gloss black like here on my previous car.
