Hi guys,
Finally got my Scirocco today after 5 months of waiting. Dealer was very good though - DRL's were disabled as requested and the ipod and USB leads were ready and waiting in the glovebox. They also sorted out the premium door sills and mats for me. Not had much time to drive her yet, but she certainly seems more planted than my MK5 GTi was. She looks a lot more special than the GTi, there are lots of little details that really make her stand out. VW have done a top job on the styling! Anyway, here are a few pics. Quality is not great as it was starting to drop dark...
Nice one, similar to mine (color, leathers), except for the glass roof. How are you satisfied with the roof? I changed my mind and went for the classic as I heard it lets too much noise get into the cabin..

Roof is absolutely fine. Doesn't let in any noise at all even at motorway speeds. It doesn't make the interior "echo-y" either like Top Gear said it did. Not sure what they were on about. The cabin seems quieter than my MK5 GTi which suffered from noticable wind noise from the drivers side window. The pano roof wasn't originally on my option list, but I went for it as a substitute for xenons when VW said I couldn't order them. Anyway, I'm very pleased with it, it makes the interior nice and bright and the contrast of the black roof and white body looks cool on the outside.
