Re: Decisions & Choices
What about previous suggestion from someone on here of getting a 170Tdi roc and getting a remap?

Tbh our opinion doesn't matter. It's what you want and what you prefer. Youv had both cars so you should know what's better or what you prefer. I'd say a roc. I suggested a 170 tdi and remap it. Power and economy in one.

Re: Decisions & Choices
Cheers white devil, but i cant find a decent 170TDI in my budget, + a remap is out of bounds for me! Insurance etc... I know the 170TDI is a nice and powerful enough car with great economy but i prefer the 2.0 tsi Dsg model in the Roc. @wigit, why do you say neither haha?

Re: Decisions & Choices
rocco is poverty spec and beamer is a convertible and too many miles for my liking
there must be plenty of both out there

Ok well what's your budget? I'm sure you could find a 170 decent spec for similar price to the beamer What would you prefer a roc or beamer? Then it depends on weither you need a diesel or not. Or if you just want a diesel. Tbh I didn't really need a diesel but I wanted one. A lot of people disagreed with me getting one because the mileage I do doesn't justify having a diesel. But got one anyway and I'm more than happy with it.

hmm i suppose so. well , top end budget is £15 and a half grand, i cant seem to find any 170TDI's I'd prefer a DSG TDi, what's the manual like? i reckon i could find one in my budget in manual just aint checked. I cant say a diesel will help me massivley if im honest, i do 200 miles a week ish. the 2.0 TSi DSG is just what i'd preffered (engine note etc etc). I really like the fact that the beamer is a hardtop droptop which in sense is a coupe but when a sunny day appears bang roof off! happy days
