I hadn't played with the ESP off switch since I got my car and today I decided to try it out and see the difference and it's one hell of a difference!!!
With ESP it always felt a little dull especially in first and second gear, and this really weird thing was happening where sometimes the acceleration felt ok and sometime it's like it was a different car. I started regretting I didn't get the 2.0 and went for fuel economy... until today turns out the ESP off button is like "press and hold for fun mode"!
The engine feels much better especially between 1500 - 3000 rpm and the car feels much more responsive... Seems the ESP was holding the engine back to stop any chance whatsoever of wheel spin.
Do you get the same experience with improved acceleration?
