Ok, I've narrowed my search down to these two as the Bluefin doesn't seem to have very good reviews on here or on the Internet in general.
So is there an advantage from one to the other. I'm not looking for a top end dyno figure for the pub, I'm looking for a tractable broad spread of torque and a nice smooth power delivery. Any additional things that come with them is a bonus but which would be best and which is easiest to install baring in mind I'll be doing it myself and I'm not in the UK.
I'm not scared of technical work, I'm a Boeing Field agent so handy with the Spanners but I don't want to be removing ECUs and pulling out chips if it can be avoided.
The Scirocco R's over here are actually down rated to 255bhp to protect against the high ambient summer temps that can get up to 50'C, I'm buying the Twintercooler to help combat this and keep the temps down and the ECU upgrade will be supported by the VWR intake and an Akrapovic exhaust including downpipe so it should be free flowing enough. Fuel will be 98 RON as that's the best that's available over here without buying race fuel from the track.
Thanks for any help guys, I know the subject has been covered a few times and has lead to some arguments between SC and other ECU upgrades but from the two listed above, which would you go for?

Hello James,
Do you have the possibility to get tuned by GIAC?

one of those questions that depending which forum you'll get differing answers, in reality which tuner is nearest to offer support is a factor

I'll be ordering whatever parts I need from the UK so support will always be an issue, I wouldn't trust many companies over here.
I just wanted to know if there was any real difference between the APR and Revo, if one was slightly better in the real world than the other - not just in dyno figures but for driving the car day to day.
