What's The Box Under the Driver's Seat?

Can anyone tell me what the electronics package under the driver's seat and packed in black polystyrene foam would be?

When I first got the car I thought it was a piece of left over packaging and was going to rip it out, but it had cables and a box of electronics that looked rather special.
Anyone know what it is? :?

Amp for Dynaudio system ?? (if you have that)

Or isn't it for Seat airbag system ??

On a RHD car the amp is under the passenger seat.

It Is The Bluetooth. I swapped Mine out of MY2010 R for a newer one that supported the Iphone 4 /S
So Dont Rip it out lol

which module was it that you replaced it with?
i also have a 2010 R with bluetooth but it wont work with my iPhone. Dealers didnt have a clue
why it wouldnt connect and everyone on here knows lol!

I dont have anything under my drivers seat - and i have factory bluetooth fitted ??

i do have the dynaudio amp under my passenger seat , but thats it :shrug:

Heard that from a few people i.e. bluetooth equipped car but nothing under the seat. Maybe it's been installed behind the climatic controls -> it's like narnia back there (space-wise)

Yea i would go as dimexi says! My bluetooth is installed afterwards and the headunit for the bluetooth is behind the stereo.

For RHD cars, it's the BT unit.
Under the passenger seat, it's the dynaudio amp, protected by a hard plastic cover.
1.4 TSI 160cv Sport DSG7 White
