RCD Query, TIP Settings every time turned off?

Hi guys new to the forum but have a question about the GF's car.

Every time she turns it off the screen goes into a menu which is TIP Settings and starts scanning 2 stations I think from memory, what the hell is it doing and how do I stop it happening every time the keys turned off?!

Turn off TIM (or TIP - I thought it was TIM, but could be TIP now) in the settings.

What it's doing - trying to be clever so that when you next get in the car, if the local radio stations have had any traffic announcements you can play them before starting off and reroute if necessary.

The TIM function is basically a timer which you set to record Traffic Announcements while you're out of the car and play them back when you return.

Excellent guys thanks, maybe it is TIP not TIM cars not just near me at the minute so cant check lol

I have DAB so my RCD510 doesn't have it but on my RCD500 I had in my R32, I'm sure there was an option in the settings menu which you could input the times so I would assume you can switch it off there too.
