to many choices on dsg
after ordering a manual but still having enough time to change my order, and the fact i ve seen the pictures of the mk6 gti and thinking of canceling the scirocco, id had a test drive booked in a dsg cause i wanted to see what all the fuss was about and hadnt maid my mind up and like the the toy factor of it, well i had an hour on my own and you cant knock the fact it does what it says on the tin its awesome at changing gear, but i felt as though i had too many options of what gear to be i found myself at being in drive then getting board then changing to sport then back again then using the paddle shift you get the picture, and i didnt notice the difference with the acc settings as i did with the manual version, also i felt as though i never knew what gear i was in like you do in the manual because i hadnt changed it myself, i ve read peoples comments saying once you ve owned the dsg you would never go back to a manual but is it really that good and do you get used to it, i know i was driving it like an idiot for an hour cause i actually felt sick after the test drive, but i feel i will drive it like that all the time if i order it ,or do you calm down and drive it steady and let it do the work for you once you get used to it, comments suggestions please.
