I know I'm not across here as much as the forum across the road, but thought I might as well post this here too anyway, more for the reason if any newbies are looking for a cracking car than anything else.
Well, after 3 brilliant years owning the Scirocco I'm afraid to say it is now gone....I'll miss that car for sure! But I guess we will maybe see a new member kicking about in it soon. It will be a cracker of a car for someone to get their hands on IMO, but hey.
Next question presumably, as always, will be well what did you get?! So, I'll leave you hanging....or not. So I've decided to trade 'up' so to speak for an Audi S5 4.2 V8 which I picked up two weeks ago . Pics follow if anyone is interested.
As plenty others have said in the past, it really has been a pleasure to own, and to be honest I wouldn't rule out another one at some point in the future once I've got the addictive V8 craving out of my system!
The paintwork appears generally in very good condition. Spec is Phantom Black with Magma Red Leather interior, pretty much all the toys (Bang & Olufsen, Sat Nav, Bluetooth etc), and 10 spoke 19" Kahn alloys with 255mm wide tyres.
And some final pics of the rocco (currently still on autotrader I think) for good measure...
Last pics of the Scirocco...
Cheers
Thommo

Very nice looking ROC... But I understand the passion for the S5, one of he nicest looking cars on the road, very nice and enjoy although I'm sure that is inevitable.
