Do you get the pointing and mouthing thing.....

I may have only had my steed for 2 days but it's amazing how many people you see at bus stops or walking along with a mate who points and mouths 'oh look a new scirocco'

Yeah its quite nice, pulled up outside a few nice bars for people to come out and take a look round the car, been quizzed when at the shops or petrol station, even had somebody want their picture taken with it lol...

Reminds me very much when the BMW Mini arrived on the scene for the first time, I think it might last longer as we have entered the recession and people dont have as much money to spend as they tighten their belts :) but who knows, I think its nice to be in this exclusive little club while it lasts
Car is now Sold!!!!! BMW 7 Series for now as nice and big but holding out for something a little special as my toy :)

Indeed, but I'm sure you are hardly surprised by that considering how often that has been mentioned here, and the number of threades that have been started (myself included) here about the attention the car gets...

Ive had a guy and his misses come over when I was filling up with petrol, and have a chat about the car. He had a Mk1 Scirocco years ago, and was driving an RS6 when he came over! It does amaze me at the interest they get, but there is nothing like it on the road, and long may that continue

Yep - still getting it three months in! Regulallry happens on the road, from pedestrians and all sorts. Even had some traffic coppers in a MacDonalds in Portsmouth make positive remarks. Mind you it was good to see their Q car and clock it for reference in the area! ande before any comical remarks about McDo, I use them for coffee and free wi-fi when on the road!

Its a serious headturner and so far I have only seen two others on the road.

I saw a white one parked up and as we drove past I pointed it out to my mates... so a lot of the people are probably soon to be rocco owners :yummy:

Just wondered what everyone else thinks... I personally don't like it from the back, but once the rear side windows comes in to view the shapes all make sense  Does anyone think the back looks good???
