Hi All.
Took a little search and it seems a few other people have also been victims of arrogant van drivers...
My drivers side wing mirror has been badly hit - the plastic cover has been popped off, the LED indicator assembly damaged and the mirror cracked. The only part left in one piece is the mount that connects to the door..!
I wondered if anyone who has been in a similar position could advise on the best way to get this fixed please?
There are a couple of intact wing mirrors on ebay for £80 - £100... But these are obviously used and it looks as though you have to be very careful when you fit them. Not sure if the colour would match either...
Any idea how much a new unit might cost from the dealer? Is it possible to order in the OEM parts and perhaps request that the dealer fits them, paying for labour?
Would appreciate any thoughts... Safe to say it wasn't a great start to my morning!
Dan.

Re: Damaged Wing Mirror - ebay or dealer?!
Well if you can get one on ebay i would, at a very very rough guess from a dealer your looking at £100 for mirror housing, £30 for unpainted cap (another £30-£40 for painting) a mirror itself is about £40 and the indicator is about £30 oh and if the dealer fits it add another £100 +, i personally would find one thats exactly the same and fit it myself (i can strip a door down and back together now in about 15 minutes but then i am very practiced at it lol.
