Counting down the hours .......

Post by Tomdaws »

Well not long now ! My new Roc is due to land on Tuesday ! and I can't wait !!!!

I'm hoping that it's every bit as good as my Edition 30 which I am starting to miss a bit now. I'll keep you posted.

Tomdaws if you'd got it ramped up to 300bhp i'd say you'd have noticed a difference, we've got a similar engined golf and i'd take the roc most days by choice, all be it the k04 engine is a gem and i love the gti to bits, drove the golf for the first time since the roc was remapped and it actually felt slow in comparison

Well...... I have to say that my Scirocco is a good drive ! It somehow just 'feels' better - more planted, a bit more 'feedback'. It's hard to put my finger on it, but I'm sure VW have dialled in a little something to make the car feel great !!! I reckon my Edition 30 was at least as quick but it sure didn't feel it, compared to my Scirocco it felt a bit 'vague'. Given that out & out performance isn't everything to me I'd take the Scirocco every time ! Oh and there's plenty of room in the back & boot for a four year old - he prefers it too !!!!
