Cutting compound???

Post by chrisr32 »

Hi all,
Im new here, and just bought a black 10 plate scirocco! 1.4tsi.. second hand of course! I'm guessing that the previous owner took it through a car wash by some of the marks in the paintwork. I already have a kestral das6 with loads of products from my last car ( golf r32 mkiv)- (black also) but that never actually had this bad/deep a scrtch in it... would you guys say something like ultimate compound? or like the deepest cut menzerna??? im a tad confused :fall: i am aware that the paint not being too old should maybe not be cut but im one of a perfectionist...
thanks in advance
chris :D

Any pics of the damage please? I assume they are very light scratches?

Which polishing pads do you have?
