Excellent! Thanks for putting that together.Interesting that Chris Harris didn't find cause for complaint with the steering,i have to say neither did i when i drove a UK GT yesterday.I think his comments are spot on about the car attracting a wide variety of buyers.

I've moved my review to a seperate thread to avoid cluttering up the reviews thread too much-it took up like half a page

from the independant - though I dont think the reviewer is a real driving enthuaist seeing as they made the statement comfort is the best setting for the UK.

Jermey has just reviewed the scirocco. Overall he really likes it and that its great return of the name which is high praise as he said the the mk1 is what got him into writing about cars.

I picked it up tonight but haven't read it yet. It's a Candy White manual vs mini JCW. The mini won but only just as it was more outright fun.

Next week the rocco is in the Auto Express performance car of the year shootout against similar suspects to Autocar's handling test and also in next months EVO car of the year article.

Just seen this on the Top Gear site:

Interesting comment on the Panoramic Sunroof - can anyone (iroc?) confirm or deny this observation?

Can't say as i've noticed. There again can't see why a glass roof would be any different than a tin roof. :? Think it's like anything else with TG they have to have a dig at something.
