Rocco85 wrote:stunning Rocco, hats off. very nice example of a black one and loving all the touches. all come together to make it your own.

when respraying the engine cover do you need to use heat resistant paint? or would say standard spray ontop of primer and then lanqured a couple of time do the trick?

Cheers
Thanks mate for your view and reply. About the engine cover ; i've asked advice indeed about that, but conclusion is that it don't need heat-resistant paint for this part. It will come warm off course, but not that much it will damage the paint. But i will check for that to be sure :) In the meantime i'm still waiting for the outside CF part but it will be finished soon..

Looking really good. Loving the colour coding you've got going on. Bespoke and reserved enough to not be brash. Interior LEDs are my next job for sure.

I love the inside of your scirocco dude!

I want to do the same thing when I saw GTi's inside and I thought to buy several things but it's very expensive! What did you've done? You've put new leather seats or they've leather covers? or asked for it when you bought the car and pay it like extra?

Great car !

See u

Thanks ! The key is related to a "Bearlock" anti-theft safety system. It's a mechanical solution with a lock in the DSG (or handgear no diiference), so when you release the key, you cannot drive the car. (http://www.bearlock.nl" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) i don't know if it also available in your country.

Thanks ! The leather interior was before order discussed so it's build directly after delivery by Leather build-in company here locally.

Thanks, i've bought some new units, and cut out with dremel a small space, just enough to get the orange reflector out :) The cutout parts keeped and surfaces put back together with some 2-component kit from Dealer :) Advice don't try to remove the front clear, it will brake.
