Hi,

You should go into your Blackberry and turn on SAP (Sim access profile) once this is on, leave it on forever, then follow the steps previously given you should get perfect connection everytime you step in thecar and switch on the ignition.

Blackberry always displays a message you cannot use the phone until you disconnect the VW UHF Bluetooth do you want to do this now, (ignore this) it just means that you cannot use the phone direct as it's all through the car system,

Hope this helps

Hi. I have the VW Premium kit in by Golf GTi(sorry!) and I'm trying to get my HTC Touch Pro to work but can't even get it to connect. HTC haven't been able to help, neither has Vodafone or VW. One or two people on this site have said the HTCs work ok - any advice on how to get it to work. It does have SAP but not rSAP.

Hi, from my understanding the VW system requires RSAP (remote Sim Access protocol) as this system using the sim card rather than just the bluetooth.

If others say it can work then try the last bit of what I had to do with The Blackberry, remove the phone battery and the sim card, wait for a minute, repalce the sim and battery and start again, I don't know why but the phone and the Car both seem to get locked up after several attempts - good luck, fingers crossed
