Ive seen those carista adaptors advertised about. Any chance you could publish what customisation are available with it for the Scirocco once you've used it? Id be interested in getting one if its worthwhile, as i want to do a couple of little mods (gauge sweep, large display MPH, etc...). Would be greatly appreciated if you did mate!

Sure thing, I'll probably make a separated thread and send you a PM url. It's should be here by ThursdayAstonbarlow wrote:Ive seen those carista adaptors advertised about. Re: Exhaust gas warning light on!
Hey guys,
I cleaned out the engine light that came up, VW told me that it's the inlet manifold but they didn't go into details and I wasn't able to speak to a mechanic. I've bought an OBD2 Carista (which comes with the app) and I also bought the Torque app.
I've done a reset on the Carista app and now the light is out. I've scanned with both apps and they didn't throw me the (stored) code. I'm not able to drive it atm (bad weather) but I'm planning to do it tomorrow. Hopefully, the light comes back on (lol).
Here are some screens from the Torque and Carista app.

Translated: no malfunction code stored in the ECU.

What do these mean? Test incomplete or test failed? (Haven't driven the car yet)
Scan from Carista app. no fault codes.

Re: Exhaust gas warning light on!
Today I finally had time to drive the Rocco. It showed up this code as pending..
Get yourselves an OBD2 adaptor, really handy and its only €20

New inlet manifold placed. Everything is back to normal and hopefully, it'll stay like this haha.
VW asked €818 for the new manifold and labour though
Next time I'm going to an indie
