After reading the review here I gave the tfr a go yesterday. I bought the 1 ltr premixed, as said I applied it, left a few minutes and then rinsed off with a hose. The car hadn't been washed for a month and I live in a rural location, so a lot of mud and road salt. I was really impressed, I still had to wash it but it had removed most of the dirt beforehand. I'll certain be investing in a 5 ltr concentrate.
Shaun1982, regarding buying it I went on the power maxed website and there's a search facility for stockists, so managed to get it from a local car spares shop.
Happy days, another good cleaning product sorted.
Cheers guys.

Although my original question was about a replacement car shampoo to Auto glym, I can't help also being interested in the pre wash being talked about called Power maxed TFR.

I wash my car once a week and to be honest its never really that dirty, just like it to be clean. If Power Maxed TFR is as good as it sounds, then I may use it instead of snow foam, deciding whether to hand wash it after applying it and rinsing off.

Problem is, my car is protected with Autoglym HD wax (which isn't cheap) and I'm worried that Power Maxed TFR will remove this and my hard work putting it on. I know its claimed to be LSP safe (wax safe)..............But is it?????

Can anyone who has used it give me some confidence on this and considering my car isnt that dirty when washed, does Power maxed TFR really sound like the sort of product I should be using?

Cheers Gaz, now just found a local shop, I'll go there now instead, see if I can save the £5.95 p&p. Oh can anyone reccomend a decent pump sprayer that doesn't pack up after a while?

I like chemical guys citrus wash and gloss.

Great smell, makes the water look radioactive (cool) and great lubricity.

Whack up the concentration and it will strip wax off too

Been using TFR a lot recently & can confirm that at 1:9 dilution rates it is completely LSP safe
As much fun as snow foam is this stuff has it beaten like a ginger step child (soz :) couldn't help ) and I will continue to use it as part of my weekly routine !
My current LSP is boucers sherbet fizz & the beading I'm getting after a TFR and spray down is still amazing
There is a raging flame war over on DW about the use of this stuff and what it's doing to the "detailing community" whether it's pure detailing or cheating - plus if the chemicals are harmful to the car long term.
This is as maybe but I just want to drive a clean car & this stuff rocks for that objective
It won't replace a proper wash but my experience as stated before over January & February is this
On a well maintained surface during the winter this stuff will minimise if not eliminate ( my roc does relatively few miles a week) the need for a bucket wash - and the least amount of touch the paint the less scratching it will get
My twopenneth FWIW

I've been using turtle Wax wash n wax for years. Get 25 litres from costco for around £16 it's good enough for a weekly wash. I always use snow foam first right enough, so far I've used Magifoam, autosmart foam & currently using Valet pro advanced ph neutral foam which is ok especially the stronger it's mixed before use.
