Black it is ... .

A black and white one had just been taken off the transporter.

This aroused my suspicions, though.

Since Coleraine is only 25 miles from me - and since my Roc was due at any time - I thought, "I wonder if mine was on the same transporter?"

Looks like it was!!

I phoned my dealer this morning and he confirms my car has arrived. It will be ready in a couple of days, but I have arranged to go down and see it later this afternoon :hyper:

My camera batteries are being re-charged right now........ :eyepop:

I've only seen one Viper Green this side of the channel (Northern Ireland); Isaac Agnew VW had one recently.

Looks excellent!!

Just back from a 'meet my new car session' in the rain!

Not ideal for taking shots, especially since the car has not been either washed or polished - it's just off the transporter.

But ... took a shot or two of the Sumatra beside a black Golf:

Yes I agree with you but how much does it look like a sumatra! Or is it just my eyes going funny?

Your eyes are going to become even more 'funny' when you see the shots I got of a Sumatra 'on fire' earlier tonight!

(Just loading onto Photobucket @ the moment) ... :fall:

I think Opal Silver is seriously under rated.

It doesn't get much attention (surprising since silver is the most dominant colour for cars) - and will be getting less attention now that it has been replaced by Silver Leaf.

Silver Leaf is pretty much the same as Opal though isn't it? Personally I think Opal / Leaf is a bit like Sumatra, in that it can look very different depending on the light / time of day etc and also photos really don't do it justice. It can look a bit beige just like Sumatra can look brown, but it can also look extremely attractive as well. I saw an Opal side by side with a Rising Blue and a red, and I and 3 of the 4 other people I was with all preferred the Opal (The other person preferred the blue).

I'd love to see some pics of the Silver Leaf.

I imagine it would look very good!

(Opal Silver was one of the first colours I saw 'in the flesh' at a dealers in Cookstown - it was obviously a biege day, and didn't attract me. On another day, who can tell?!).
