Picked up the final mounting parts for the R-bumper conversion





Also here the R-logoclip, but since i don't drive a R we will customize that It was to much work and costs to get rid of the mounting-frame in the grille itself, without repainting etc.



Also i want to do something different for the licenseplate holder (don't like it on a R imo), so i ordered a kit for that, so we don't have to drill holes in bumper.



Planning is to order the final bumper itself next week, and drop it @ the local painter here

Today picked up the new front @ the local VW Dealer here



After that i personally delivered it directly to the painter

In the meantime we've found a nice customization for the R-logo and the DRL units will be coated in Black/Smoke.

All will be finished and mounted somewhere around half of April

Bumper is finally fresh from painter, all parts are collected, tomorrow mounting day

Finished the installation went very nice we were ready in 2 hours

Hi, had many requests for the grille but already reserved local here for a little while. Sorry for that. If something will change related to this, i will inform.

Latest update with the new front @ carshow last week. Very happy with the overall results. Working on the modification of the R-logo in grille, but this will be finished soon.

Finished this week the modification of the grille-logo. Removed the R-sign and mounted some parts of the APR logo what i kept a while ago. It's showing the stage and II signs (Stage II = APR Carbonio). Logo first painted full matte-black



After this i wanted to have a little red detail in it to match up with all other red/black details. Got in contact with a pinstriper and talked about the plans. So today got a visit there and finished up







He advised to get the letters some more shiny detail, so he brighten up this part somewhat. Very happy with the result



Also he changed the OSIR logo color of both pods for the Defi Gauges in the Dash.



And finally also this week the CF doorhandles arrived, building in soon

No, they are OEM R-units which are customized for DRL- and Indicator function in one unit.

yes they are. I've read alot about some experiences. I've contacted him last end of last year and confrontated him with about these negative points. That's all i want to say about that. He was ok to build a kit for me and i'm very satisfied with the results.

If eventually the units will not fuction as they should, i switch over to only DRL and code out the DRL and Signals. But again i'm very happy with the current ones.
