Thanks for the compliments, mate, really appreciate it !.. I'm liking the color too (even tough it's very hard to capture the exact color on photo, she changes color in the sun ..)
Total fan of your black beauty, read your entire tread several times, it is defenitely one of the most beautiful rocs here..
Liking the tips, it has really upgraded the car's rear imo...will post a pic soon !...
Also looking in to lowering her with H&R (40mm), i think that will make a huge difference (judging by your before and after pics)....

Thank's mate :)

Lowering really makes a huge difference. All you need to transform the roc is a bit of lowering and maybe some 19" wheels ;)
H&R has 35mm springs, not 40mm I believe? At least that was the option when I lowered mine. Eicbach has some 40mm springs.

I hestitated a lot about 19" when i ordered the car (my dealer had a night blue Roc with 19" Lugano in the showroom, it looked very cool). Was worried about the car getting too hard AND the price for a set of tyres tough
You're right about the H&R springs, Eibach has 30mm springs on the site, can't seem to find 40mm.
Are you happy with your H&R's ? Used to have a set on my Ford Escort so i have a slight preference for this brand...
Are you having trouble with speedbumps (we have A LOT of those in Belgium, in different shapes and sizes  ) or scraping ?

You can buy the Eibach springs also as VW branded ones, I believe they are the -30 mm ones. The advantage is that you get to keep full warranty with these, while installing other springs will void warranty for suspension related stuff. At least in Finland.

I have the OEM lowering springs installed on my car, not a perfect match with frequent speedbumps and front mudflaps. If I had no mudflaps, I wouldn't have any problems.

Informed about these @my dealer but he said that they were only available for the 2.0TSI, they would lower the car 20-25mm. For not-OEM springs, there would not be a problem with my warranty if i don't use coilovers and if the springs are TUV-certified....

There are actually three types of OEM spring sets available, one for 1.4 TSI (both 92 & 118 kW, including DSG), one for 2.0 TSI, and one for diesels. See e.g. AHW-Shop.

The warranty practices are different in different countries and if they will accept any TÜV certified springs with no warranty issues, I would go for H&R's. They just look slightly better IMO.

Ordered the door sills from HKB5VARIANT a couple of weeks ago. Weather has been lousy lately but today i got to unwrap them and go out for a sneak peek. Have to say, LOVE THEM, especially on the dark blue (they stand out very well and combine nicely with the other chrome interior bits  ) ! Look much nicer irl than on any pic i have seen.
Eagerly waiting for better weather so i can install them for real.... :vibes:
Tought i would share a few pics with you guys !!...
