A little under bonnet cleaning

Post by Ian_Mac »

Given the mileage is just north of 30k now I don't think it's looking too bad in there

Well, I used Megs APC giving everything a liberal coating. A bucket with Jeff Werkstatt shampoo in then it was a case of getting the lambs wool mitt and a small paint brush in as many nooks and crannies as possible.

After a rinse and dry I used Autoglym Plastic & Rubber gel on all the black bits. You can't really see in the pics but I also did the white paint underneath the bonnet with Dodo Lime & Prime to brighten it up a bit. Tomorrows job is to put a coat of wax under there.

Considering I had no intention of doing under the bonnet, only topping up the washer fluid it didn't turn out too bad.
