Very nice setup man! I'm looking for a Cup spoiler myself, can you help with that?

Re: Scirocco R Invasion Down Under
Car looks of the HOOK!
Still deciding whether i should get the cup spoiler, not too keen about the fitment (apparently you glue it on), but def adds to the appeal of the Roc. Anyone go for the cup front splitter which was showed on the Concept X?
Cant wait to hear about the next mods

Thanks dude, the Cup spoiler is OEM so your dealer should have excess to it. If you google there are a few companies that sell imitation ones..jinrai wrote:Very nice setup man! I'm looking for a Cup spoiler myself, can you help with that?

Re: Scirocco R Invasion Down Under
I started my engine mods this week...
VWR intake
Nicely made and everything fits well.
The car immediately feels more responsive and the intake is nice and quiet.
Neuspeed Hi Flo K04 Discharge Conversion
Its an easy bolt on job and helps in reducing turbo lag.

I was a bit bored the other day and I needed to test some new gear...best to play it loud with a set of headphones.

Looks fantastic!
How did you lower it so much? I have Bilsteins on mine and they're at the limit possible before you start to hit the bump stop or whatever its called. So how come yours is lower than that still? Have you modded something else to enable that?

I am running the KW DCC so not sure what the lowering variances with the Bilsteins are but I am not hitting the bump stops yet. The fronts are lowered 43mm from standard and the rears are down 63mm from standard. Fronts are wound down half way and I am not rubbing at all, still plenty of room. The rears are down about 75% and also free of rub.
BTW your car looks great too wish I could get the recaros cheaper in Australia.....

I have been fortunate to have had good photographers take an interest in my car and offered to shoot for free on their time. Hope you are not sick of my photos!

Ahh ok fair enough. I don't think mine will go lower anyway, my exhaust sticks lower and could rub the ground which would be a big no no! hahahaRev 555 wrote:Hi mateStrat wrote:Looks fantastic!

Car def looks mean!, going to keep an eye on this!
Have you considered removing the number plate mount? looks a lot cleaner without it.
Problem iv found with the recaros are that i want to keep the leather all lovely and red and new. so i keep the covers on most of the time. only on special occassions do i take the covers off for all to see the full glory!

Matter of interest, how do you attach this to the car? been meaning to do a vid of my APR exhaust but can't seem to do it justice. would be nice to attach a camera like this so you get it in motion.Rev 555 wrote:I was a bit bored the other day and I needed to test some new gear...best to play it loud with a set of headphones.

Never, they have been an inspiration for me! I've ordered a set of those wheels and am very tempted by the KW setup, I'm just worried it will lose the comfort?
RS5, Scirocco R. You can never have enough R's
