lol
Yep.

:hyper:

I have to say though, thanks to all of you guys who already have them for the knowledge and experiences you've all had so far. They've moulded my spec into what was useful and not and also armed me with the information I needed to go and order and when I collect too. I'll be keeping my eyes sharply peeled for that pesky free iPod lead :D

Wednesday at 2pm is S-Day!Bye bye to my beloved Puma but it's time to move on.

Incidentally I've started a blog which I'll be using to chart my ownership as I move from manual to DSG, Ford to VW and quick to very quick! More wednesday night :)

yes - good luck this week Kev. ps. Which Puma have you got? I have owned 2 in the past, both 1.7's, the last one being a limited edition Thunder model which I traded in for my current Mazda RX-8.

Reg number issued.
Free VW 7 day insurance sorted.
Dealer is going to check my wipers too.

I haven't mentioned the iPod lead to him because if he says it costs money I'm going to bet him a full tank of petrol that it doesn't :)

VW/Zurich offered me a years insurance quote but it's nigh on double what my current ones (Admiral) are offering!

I'd be surprised if they changed any spec after only 6 months in production. It's more likely to come on a midlife facelift around 2011. Although I must admit I do like the new display.

The Puma's been emptied of all its junk and given a quick once over with a wet sponge to make it look half decent.

I took a final pic just before I washed it off as the light was fading.

Bye bye old friend :) It's been a damn good barge has that.

The Puma was 1996/7 Top Gear car of the year.
I'm swapping it for the 2009 Top Gear car of the year.

I obviously have good taste :D

1hour 20 mins to go!

Yes - the Puma was looking a little tired I guess, but has done you proud. What mileage was on the Puma Kev?
