TWEETER

Post by tweeter »

Hello to the community!

I'm from Portugal and own a 2008 2.0TSi on a "R" stock look.

Also, and because it's my business, I've installed a FOCAL sound system becoming the national champion for the category in EMMA competition for 2011.

This year there will be a major change on the ROCCO and you'll all see it first hand.

For now a few photos:

The day it was bought, used:

And as it is for now (01/04/2012)

Clicking in the pictures you'll be redirected to TWEETER website where you can see the entire project and upgrades:

Also there's an online magazine who published the project:

BEDIFERENT.COM page 33.

Hope you enjoy the car.

Yay something different to look at. I'm interested in this build, go go go.

Don't VW offer custom colours like Audi do at buying stage?

Wow, that looks so good. Why make a car look like an R when instead you could buy an R. That is a unique car I absolutely love it.

I take my hat off to you for the amount of work you've put in, but there's nothing about the car that does anything for me, maybe its the fact that I'm not into shopping stoppers (getting old at 23....).

By the way, it's not a 'R', so drop the badges.....

Have to admit, I love the colour and everything, but I too would drop the R logos. Leave it "unknown" and for the love of god get at least a remap!

In portugal, there aren't so many "R's" as supposed, believe it or not even the 2.0 GT is a little hard to find.

Over here it's easy to find a 2.0 TDi and much more easy to find a 1.4 TSi (122hp or 160hp).

I was not looking to buy a car when I bought this one, it was an opportunity on the price and when I thought well the deal was done...

Also when I bought it there was no "R" yet for sale, it only appeared a few months later.

Thanks.

Thank you but you have to look at it on a "show-car" angle, it's one of our best projects. Btw, I've removed the "bug's" on our website and also the opening movie.

It will be, wait and see...

Thanks on the comments.

I use this and other forums and the web in general to learn and see what other's do to they're car. Besides the sound system there's nothing on the car I could say that came out of my mind, it's my representation of many projects and pictures throughout my life as an observer and builder of different projects.

My business is on a need to change basis and I believe that the mechanical upgrades are the way to go, my SCIROCCO will have more than a remap and it will be more than you get on a standard "R", that's for sure, so I'm keeping the badges.
