Volkswagen Scirocco MK3 -12' - "Diesesel"
So, I finally got my Scirocco, had it for 4 days now, and i love it! The power of the TDI, the higher notes of the exhaust when putting your foot down, the color, the ride, love it.
Thought I'd share some shots of it, starting with the first ones from when the car arrived to my city in Sweden:
... and, some from the delivery from the dealer:

Superb, love the colour. I too have the same car only mine is the 140 Bluemotion, delivery is late but I should get it latest I am told now although I don't trust the date is 1st week in June, supposed to be delivered on 20th of April. So I called Volkswagon customer service and managed to get reverse sensors for free due to my wait, not ideal but softens the blow a little.
Enjoy your new ROC Johisson and keep the pictures coming, your pictures and stories are what keeps me going in my quest to get my ROC. Looks awesome in the Viper :0)

Re: Volkswagen Scirocco MK3 -12' - "Diesesel"
Hope you'll get a hold of your car soon then, I know about waiting, I ordered mine in early winter, but didn't want to take it out on its first run during a hellish winter, so I had to wait until spring.. although the other day, some snow fell and I got out for some shots:Cool Hand Luke wrote:Superb, love the colour. ... and the next day, it was all gone and I could enjoy it on dry asphalt a Friday night.

Re: Volkswagen Scirocco MK3 -12' - "Diesesel"
Very nice even in the snow, bet you were gutted when the snow fell :0(
Another update that softens the blow. My dealers initial mistake in placing my order 6 weeks late has now put me in the new spec, I.e. full leather interior and sat nav plus my negotiation skills getting the reverse sensors for free also, not too bad a result, I am stoked with these extras I would have loved but couldn't afford, happy days, although I wait 5-6 weeks all in all a result..!!

Yeah, although the snow only lasted for one night, so I got a few nice shots at least, spring came early this year in Sweden so I'm happy about that. =)Cool Hand Luke wrote:Very nice even in the snow, bet you were gutted when the snow fell :0(

Damn, it seems as if this delay with your car comes with some good things in the end.
Arriving to work today, I took a few shots in the garage:

Re: Volkswagen Scirocco MK3 -12' - "Diesesel"
Thanks people!
The bulbs I bought from a member of another Scirocco forum which I stumbled upon when searching for lights for the Scirocco, I'm not sure about the brand of them, but they sure made a difference, they'll be enough till I get the time and money to do a Xenon conversion with original Xenon lights. Here is the url to the thread:
http://www.scirocconet.co.uk/forum/new- ... t6600.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The grill I bought through ebay, there's alot of goodies around the German part of ebay.
Other mods will be coming, I've ordered a set of the KW DCC coilovers, but they were sold out at KW so I had to wait, and knowing it could take a while, I bought a set of H&R' for the time being.
I'm also looking for new wheels, but it's hard, coming from MK2 & MK1 Golfs, I always "knew" what too look for, 14-15" split wheels like Schmidt's or BBS', but with the Scirocco I'm in a unknown territory regarding 18-19", I want to go splits but it's hard to find the right ones.

Re: Volkswagen Scirocco MK3 -12' - "Diesesel"
I used another version of LED's for the position lights, I bought them in a local store, the headlights and fog-lights are bought from Flux. And they are straight replacement, no work needed other than exchanging them.Mishaw wrote:Thanks for the link. Doesn't look like there's anyone for sale right now, I'd advise you to keep an eye out on ebay, or you could check this one out: http://www.gepfeffert.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Sehested wrote:I have tried searching for the grill on eBay.de but i cant find anything that looks like that. Or you could check with speed-tech: http://www.speed-tech.de/store/online-s ... gory_id=37" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
They sell it too.
