Nice car mate, not too common with Night Blue R's!
Of course you'll drive it, dude. It's meant to be driven Motorway driving will not ruin the R at all.

Re: My Night blue Scirocco R
Nice mabrouk basho.
Some questions: If you dont mind me asking how much did it caust? Here in lebanon one like yours would run at 65000$. Also how much does the golf r caust in dubai or within the uae cause im planing on shipping one from there? thanks greatly appreciated
Back to your car i think its amazing never expected that color to look so good. Any mods in mind? Def dont over do it with the rpm keep it bellow 6 if not 5 for a while, i know i know it will be hard and tempting to floor that car but just drive around for like 500km then its good. ps i have the acc (spots/comfort/normal) button and i think its only made for track days. I have it in my car and i have used it twice in the past 3 years so your not missing out on the acc.
Again, mabrook allah yi rid el darbet. We should def have a middle east meet of roccos

Re: My Night blue Scirocco R
Hello Brother!
Glad to see someone from Lebanon! I'm Lebanese too
Well No I don't Mind the car Cost arround 44-47,000 usd fully loaded... With transportation from Dubai and Customs in leb it will set u for extra 10k no more... Also If U want to buy some of the R U need to let me know so we can deposit for some it might takes 2-3 months bro! They aren't coming in much quantity, unlike the Golf's! As for the Golf R it will cost you fully loaded arround the same price 47-48,000!
Thx Bro for your nice comments! I loce this color, at the end of the day it's a personal choice, It really changes so many colors with different lights and shads! I've been stopped many many times and been asked for the color! hehehe
Definately I'll mod the car bro... But I need to start to get bored "I don't know if I could" hehehe inchallah mods will start after the first service!
New H&R springs, APR FAB R or RSC Exhaust is a monster sorry Milltech lover ), The LED taillights are so cool and I might change those too, the one thing I didnt like about the R is the brakes so I'll need to install better brakes I'll see even in some carbon brakes are available! This will be costly but worth every penny. As for the engine I want touch it before 50,000 km if not 65,000 (I am not yet decided if I wanna tune the Engine)
I am ready to meet with you guys!
Thx again Allah yeb3od el Darbet 3ana Kilna!
Take care and stay in touch

Re: My Night blue Scirocco R
hey basho, mabrouk, smallah very nice.
I bought my car from Saudi also without the ACC option, i think all golfs and roccos in the gulf region come without it. and as the guys said u'll barely use it, and it is better without it if u'll planning to go coilovers later.
@ raffoul, where are u bro? we should definitely make a rocco meeting in lebanon.
btw, I shipped my car to lebanon last year from saudi, and i just paid the customs and registration (changed from saudi to lebanese license plates) and trust me i paid alot more than 10k (ba3d alf wasta ) and my car is a 2010 model not 2012
so basically if u plan to get a car from the Gulf and ship it to lebanon, u'll end up with the same cost as buying it directly from vw dealer in lebanon.

Re: My Night blue Scirocco R
Ahh thanks alot mahmoud for the info. I wished it was sub 10k for the whole issue of shipping and tisjel, but when you tell me it might be around 15-18k then i might as well buy it from here. Btw saw your car in roadsters hamra and its by far the scariest scirocco in lebanon so if i may:
About the meet, i am trying to make a nice meet with around 4 roccos and couple of gti's and r's (sadly i dont know any rocco-r owners) ill let you know what happens though. ps how is the abt front bumper holding with all our pot holes and well really crapy roads?

Re: My Night blue Scirocco R
hehe, it will become even more scary,
i ordered a new set of VWR rims and Eibach springs, so i have to be more careful not hitting that bumper. I already had 2 ballouns in my tire here in leb. lol.
I also ordered boost pipes, APR intercooler, APR boost tap, and still thinking about a de-resonated exhaust pipe.
But right now my biggest problem is that I'm having misfiring and boost cutoff when i press the pedal, so i have to see how shall I solve this problem as I am not driving beyond 3000 RPM, and it is driving me crazy.
Here is the thread, unfortunately no one replied : http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum/ ... 35&t=10834" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I ordered a VAGCOM cable to plug the car to my PC and check the problem or send the results to APR because I dont trust anyone here in lebanon
Hope we can make some nice little rocco events in the beggining of this summer. we shall try to catch them through a facebook group or something lol.

Re: My Night blue Scirocco R
Guys I have a question!
Anybody knows details about the factory tinted glass on the R? I already tinted the front and the driver's windows with V-cool! I was thinking to take off the factory tinted cuz it's not matching the V-cool one! What do you think?
Also anyone tried V-cool body protection Ultra-master? The company told me they give warranty for 3 years and that I don't have to wax or polish the car for 3 years!!
Ur replies are much appreciated!
