My Black Oak 1.4TSI Czech Rocco

Post by Mishaw »

Hi guys,
I'd like to show you my Black Oak Scirocco from January 2011. It is my first car ever (18th b-day present :) )
From factory had 174bhp (by brake), now it has 215BHP and 290Nm.
The car is almost the stock one, just with Climatronic, RCD510, 18" Interlagos wheels and board computer Plus. The only thing I really hate is the white overhead material :-/....I wanna black :(
Today I have also rear lights from Scirocco R and MTM carpets. Asap I'll have MTM air filter, too.
More photos will come in few days.
Mike :-)

Nice car, so give us more photos :)

How is the car when it's mapped compared to stock? Big difference?

Yes, huge difference. Especially in acceleration due to higher better torque.
In compare with the new Golf GTI, I was faster on 0-100, betwen 100-180 it was draw and above 180 the GTI started little bit crush me :D .
I can just recommend you chip for Rocco, the consumption is ~ the same, little bit higher.

Such things are always tempting, hehe... But does the engine handle the increased turbo pressure well? Have you experienced anything "unormal" or such after the ECU were mapped?

Well,
today and tomorrow, I'm in Norwich, UK. I MUST say, it IS TRULLY SCIROCCO HEAVEN. From London to Norwich I saw around 15 Sciroccos....Thats number, which I haven't seen together of whole my life up today.
For example, this GTS tonight, at hotel parking....
GTSsmaller.jpg
Sorry for quality, I'm just surpriesed from this place on the Earth
Even in Germany, there is no more Sciroccos than in UK, I think !

Well guys,
some news about my LOVE, I'm now ready to next summer. I bought this WSP W457 wheels, really really good copy of OEM Lugano 19" wheels, absolutely same parameters. Also bought new Nokian zLine tyres, I hope it will suit my expectation :)

Guys, I made another modification on my Rocco. For now, I used another software (I was already chiped) and now, I have even more power, little bit less torque and much more linear process of engine. As you can see below. Now 215BHP and 290Nm. There is also comparsion with STOCK ECU...174BHP and 236Nm

I'm absolutely satisfied with WSP Italy. The weight is the same as original Lugano from VW.
